I have been slowly re-working my character designs to streamline the polygon layouts for shape and deformation as well as to clean up the overall shape to get it closer to my 2d concept sketches.
I am also working on tweaking my designs for the other body types, which I have not yet been happy with my attempts at. The feel of the 2d sketches and pre-production has issues when i carry it over into 3d.
On the suggestion of a good friend, I worked up a before and after of my re-workings, so that people could see what I have tweaked, it’s definitely subtle, but I do think it moves in the right direction. Take v1 & v2 with a grain of salt, this is realistically a version upwards of 20, but I have stopped keeping track of revisions after a point.
