It was a nice long weekend, due to the President’s Day holiday. I spent most of it doing errands and apartment cleaning, but that was good busy work that didn’t allow for me to get to distracted. Won an award.
Last night was the BAFTA awards, the British equivalent to the Oscars. The Golden Compass won the Visual Effects award, beating out 4 other top tier films. http://static.bafta.org/awards/film/film-awards-nominees-in-2008,224,BA.html This is truly cool, I will have to track down the acceptance speech that Bill gave at the ceremony, it was shown on BBC America but I missed it.
