I am working on updating my character design, to whit I have gone back to how he will emote and convey his thoughts to others, and the audience. My first step was to go through and try to set up a way for the separate emotional states to shine through based on a relatively simplistic design aesthetic.

I will move from this to redesigning the lip-synch shapes to feel better based on the new design.

I was toying with the idea of an animated icon for myself in forums, which led to me going through and toying with my Doctor Who work. And this was the result, it led me to really want to go back and redo the designs that I had done, which while decent, were not quite where I would like them to be.
